Kitty in a Cup

Our sponsor this month is My Creative Scoop. I selected this kitty in a cup for the Anything Goes over at  Twisted Thursday.
I colored the image with Prismacolor colored pencils (and made him to look like my own cat, Charlie), die cut the circle for the image and made a circle card base. The sentiment comes from Newton's Nook, Newton Loves Coffee.

Ice Cream Sundae

I always love an "anything goes" challenge, which Little Miss Muffet has going on right now. I just love this Ice Cream Sundae digital image because, well, I love ice cream (and, it is only $1.00 right now)!

Little Miss Muffet
I used Copic markers to color the image, popped up on several oval dies, added  Nuvo Crystal Drops, and a ribbon/bow from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thanks for your visit. I do love reading your comments.

My card was "spotlighted" at the Little Miss Muffet challenge on January 25, 2017! Thank you!

Jiggling Doggie Card

Our sponsor this month is My Creative Scoop. I selected this cute pup for the Tic, Tack, Toe twist over at  Twisted Thursday.
My row was
1. Thinking of you (sentiment)
2. Dry embossing (folder)
3. Brads (hearts)

I colored the doggie with Prismacolor colored pencils, cut him with my Scan n Cut, then popped him up using a jiggler from Art Impressions. The background paper is a Darice embossing folder that I swiped with Distress Inks. The sentiment is from a set called Smoooches from Paper Smooches.

Bugaboo Birthday Penguin Cupcake

Bugaboo, Catch the Bug, has a bingo board challenge that started today as part of their birthday celebration. I have been itching to color up this adorable Birthday Penguin Cupcake image. I selected the middle row of Cupcake/Bugaboo Image/Bold Colors.
Primary colors always means bold to me. I did need to add a bit of pink though because frosting that is too bold kind of scares me, LOL!

I cut out a side step card and used some Photoplay Party Box papers. I decided to add more balloons, so I used Poppy Stamps Celebration balloons. The frame was die cut with Snowflake Stitched Frames from Penny Black.

Copic Colors Used
The sentiment, white heat embossed and popped up is from Elizabeth Craft Designs General Sentiments. Lots of Nuvo Clear Shimmer Pen was added for some fun.

This happens to be day two of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge as well. So take a look at the fun going on there as well.

Thank you so much for your visit. I enjoy reading each comment.

Hues in Blues with Magnolias

Power Poppy has a challenge on their blog to use Hues in Blues.
I stamped this pretty flower branch from the Planning for Magnolias set with Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks. Then I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image. I used the same ink around the stitched edge and adhered it to a piece of navy blue cardstock on top of a white card base. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped and heat embossed in silver. I added a clear and silver ribbon/bow and a few silver dots to complete the card.

This is day three of The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge as well. So take a look at the fun going on there as well.

Thank you so much for your visit. I enjoy reading each comment.

Dragon's Lair Designs Elephant in the Window

This sweet elephant comes from Dragons Lair Designs, and I created it for the Dragon's Lair Designs Progressive January Challenge on Facebook.

Copic Colors Used
The frame was die cut with Snowflake Stitched Frames from Penny Black, and the sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Designs, General Sentiments. It was stamped with Versamark ink in black and embossed with clear embossing powder. The flowers come from ones I made a long time ago and in my stash. The little green dew drops are from Robin's Nest. A pink button finishes the card.

This challenge also coincides with the first day of Kathy's, The Daily Marker's, current 30 day challenge. So much fun. You should join in if you haven't already. Just color. Cards not even necessary, and you don't have to do one EVERY day!

Thank you for your visit, and an extra thanks if you left a message!

Coffee Cup In Stitches

I am so loving this month's newest release from Paper Smooches and just had to do one more card for the monthly challenge.
I used the In Stitches stamps and the cup, colored with Copics, from the Embroidery Hoop die set. The background hearts were stamped with the same stamp set on white. The  frame die, Antique Frame, comes from Penny Black.

Cross Stitched Snowman Card

Anything goes this month over at  the Paper Smooches January Challenge

I am loving these new Stitched Circle Die and the matching Embroidery Hoop. It took a while to embroider this little snowman, but was well worth it (and, fun to do in front of the TV in the evening!). First, I used a stamp of a snowman from the Warm Hearts stamp set on a matching circle die to use as a reference for stitching. I'm not a cross stitcher so I'm not sure how to make round objects, but I still love the way he turned out! It is popped up over the frame.

I also used the pretty Ribbon die topped with clear Nuvo Crystal Drops. The fun frame shape, Antique Frame, comes from Penny Black.

Also shared with the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!

Our sponsor this month is My Creative Scoop. I selected this adorable baby giraffe to use in our optional twist on Twisted Thursday, New Beginnings!

Chubby Chum on Action Wobbler Card

Anything goes this month over at  the Paper Smooches January Challenge.

I used the Chubby Chums dog stamp and matching die, and the Dog and Paw Print  dies. The sentiment is added to a Word Bubble die cut three times and glued together. Then, it was edged with brown Copics. The wood paper comes from Stampin Up Wood Textures Designs Paper. The background was sprayed with Copics over a Dyan Reaveley Dylusions Stencil, and a couple of green hearts were added just for fun. The embossed sentiment is popped, Clear Nuvo Crystal drops were added to the doggie bone, and the doggie is on an action wobbler.

Happy Snowman Shaker Card

Our sponsor this month is My Creative Scoop. I selected the image Happy-Snowman to use in our optional twist on Twisted Thursday, Shake Your Confetti!
I added some second generation snowflakes behind him and used the first generation stamping to cut out the sentiment from Paper Smooches set called Warm Hearts. The wood grain paper is from Stampin Up, and a sparkly bow and a few more of the shaker snowflakes were added for some more interest.
